Delphi is a prime example of corporate greed and ineffiency ! When General motors spun Delphi off they loaded the company up with corporate debt ! They took the state of Alabama to the cleaners ! Then they took the federal government to the cleaners also ! If Honda, Nissan and Mercedes can build cars in our country and do quite well why is GM such a failure ??

GM's problems were due to a combination of poor management decisions and inflated wages driven by the UAW.

the union killed GM. that is where the greed came from. the union was a good thing years ago but over time they became greedy and didn't allow GM to get rid of the poor performing employees and all you ended up with was a bunch of lazy do-nothings that GM could not fire because of the union. the union killed GM.
