the union killed GM. that is where the greed came from. the union was a good thing years ago but over time they became greedy and didn't allow GM to get rid of the poor performing employees and all you ended up with was a bunch of lazy do-nothings that GM could not fire because of the union. the union killed GM.

GM's problems were due to a combination of poor management decisions and inflated wages driven by the UAW.
Good to see that HB 56 really is not giving Alabama the bad name that some in the press are claiming.
